When the Curtain Comes Down Eric Daum (C) 2013 Electric Angels Music When the Curtain Comes Down At the close of the Day And the ghosts of regret Come out to play When the evening begins The shadows loom The tick of the clock Fills up my room When the Curtain Comes Down At the close of the Day When the Curtain Comes Down All my hopes fade away When the Curtain Comes Down My certainty wilts Faced with my past The burden of guilt When the Curtain Comes Down At the close of the Day When the Curtain Comes Down All my hopes fade away It all seemed so clear At the dawn of the day A smooth road lay ahead Can’t get out of my own way When the Curtain Comes Down At the close of the Day When the Curtain Comes Down All my hopes fade away ©1997-2015 SoundClick Inc. Falling Star 05:39
Falling Star Eric Daum (c) 2012 Did you jump upon a falling star As it hurtled to the ground Did you hope the flaming path you rode Would somehow turn around What Madness did possess me To let you lure my heart away Those weeks of stolen glances Were just a pointless Passion Play The origin of the specious The origin of Man The legend of our longing Our misbegotten plan As we sat above Fifth Avenue And watched the Sunset over Central Park The fateful promise that I made to you The tear in my divided heart The origin of the species The origin of Man Sail the River Neva The voyage of the damned The origin of the species Leads to the certain fall of Man The Garden of Eden A misbegotten plan Did you hitch ride upon a falling star To its unforgiving end And did you watch your fragile dreams explode We break before we bend

Whether I like It or Not Lyrics by Carole Young and Eric Daum 2013 You don't trust me, I don't trust you We know exactly Where each other stands You are here for me, I am here for you Who Needs for anything Who needs a diamond ring? You have your space I have mine No ties to bind, just the freedom to leave We’re like birds, birds of a feather We go our own way even when we’re together Whether I like it or not After all these years apart - We have more in common Than I thought Whether I like it or not After all these years apart - We have more in common Than I thought You don’t like me I don’t like you, We each make cuts to watch the other bleed You still want me, I still want you Yet we’re the last thing that the other needs Whether I like it or not After all these years apart - We have more in common Than I thought

Dark Matter 05:46
Dark Matter By Eric Daum I can’t see you near me I can’t hear you whisper -But I sense that you are here I feel you all around me Magnetic fields surround me-you’re the negative charge in the atmosphere It’s a Dark Matter that binds us both together A dark connection no one can see It’s a Dark Matter that fills the space between us The eternal dance in destiny Your absence is my presence We weigh it in the balance- you keep me rooted in this place The weight of all we’re sharing The dark secret that we’re baring- we hurtle off in our disgrace It’s a Dark Matter that binds us both together A dark connection no one can see It’s a Dark Matter that fills the space between us The eternal dance of infamy Like Paolo and Francesca Our souls are locked together- a desperate dance for eternity An invisible force that binds us Each new day reminds us-there’s more at stake than you and me. It’s a Dark Matter that binds us both together A dark connection no one can see It’s a Dark Matter that fills the space between us The eternal Dance in destiny

SAVAGE SOUL by Eric Daum 2013 We have nothing To fear but fear itself That’s good enough for me I easily scare myself Save me save me I’ve finally lost control Save me save me And soothe this savage soul The dreams I sell Each one my own invention The road to hell Paved with my good intentions Save me save me I’ve finally lost control Save me save me And soothe this savage soul Save me save me I’ve finally lost control Save me save me And soothe this savage soul I’ve tried everything To bleed the savage beast I’d do anything To help you find release Save me save me I’ve finally lost control Save me save me And soothe this savage soul

Murder Of Crows Eric Daum, (c) 2013 I spoke to my ghost last night haven’t seen her in years She hitched a ride upon my trail of tears A slurring voice like a passing car on a rainy street It won’t be long until we meet A murder of Crows in the cold grey sky The simplest things can make me cry. Naked branches arch across a crescent moon The sound of distant cars surrounds me in the gloom A biting wind on this winter dawn I searched the trees the ghost was gone A murder of crows in the cold grey sky The simplest things can make me cry. I’ll Never….Never understand the tragedy (I hear them calling… I hear them calling my name) I’ll never …Never understand all the things she meant to me (I see them flying … I see them flying away ) Lying in bed I felt footsteps upon my grave The beaten lie that my soul is saved I Spoke to my ghost last night I haven’t seen her in years She waits to resurrect all my fears

We That Hope You Enjoyed the Show (c) Electric Angels music 2012 What sad day for our nation It’s a good day for our ratings Catch the highlights twenty-four/seven Full details at 11:00 The camera zooms upon the scene See the families say good bye A minor key version of our theme To let you know it’s time to cry Let’s give the heroes a hand Wave to those watching at home The blood runs out on the sand We hope that you enjoyed the show Interview some peripheral witness A close-up as the coffins descend the stairs All brought to you by our sponsors They’re the Big Bank that cares Let’s give the heroes a hand Wave to those watching at home The blood runs out on the sand We hope that you enjoyed the show Give the people Bread and Circus Death by the gladiator’s hand Breaking News with our approval We make them die at our command Let’s give the heroes a hand Wave to those watching at home The blood runs out on the sand We hope that you enjoyed the show

about

A Darker Turn for the Electric Angels, "Fear" weaves Art Rock and Psychedelia to create a Modernist tapestry of ennui and dislocation.
Fear contains 11 tracks recorded from December 2012 through March of 2014 documenting the harrowing details of daily life. Psychedelic arrangements blend with power pop and proto-metal songs to present a bleak soundscape. At turns melodic and dissonant, falsely happy and despairing, the album concludes with an withering commentary on the media in its reporting on the ongoing battle over gun violence in American Culture.

The Electric Angels are Brit, Bob Kingdon, Guitar and Vocals, and Yank, Eric Daum Vocals, Keyboards and Guitar. "Fear" is their most collaborative release yet, as they share songwriting credits on "Glittering Haze", "Beautiful Ruin", "Savage Soul" and Kingdon offers vocals on Daum's "Murder of Crows" The Electric Angels once again feature the writing of Scottish poet Carole Young setting her poem Whether I Like It Or Not" to music.

Guest artists include Michael Maloof, Lead Guitar on "Glittering Haze" and "Everything Burns so Bright" and Joey Vela, Lead Guitar on "Beautiful Ruin".
The standout Singles on the album are Bob Kingdon's "An Angel's Tears" and Eric Daum's "Dark Matter".
